Janet Whitehead has over sixteen years in sales and marketing and is a former member of the Technology Marketing Council
subcommittee for the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce creating the Atlanta technology marketing plans including the knowledge portal.
At HP, Ms. Whitehead was Corporate Account Manager for AT&T responsible for managing AT&T and the sales of HP product lines and technology solution offerings.
She has experience in startup company environments, emerging technology and new product introduction into the marketplace, account turnarounds,
and strategic business planning and managed the premier launch for a Showtime Network Series.
Ms. Whitehead has held positions as Business Development Manager, Industry Consulting Manager, and Sales Management positions for
consulting service firms and was a catalyst for their revenue growth responsible for several Fortune 500 accounts.
She is a trained six sigma black belt and has expertise in performance management, business process optimization, business analytics,
and business transformation and new business model creation.
Ms. Whitehead launched the Southeast electrical sales for B&D Industrial, was instrumental in the success of the UPS Hub 2000 project now known as Worldport,
turned around HP a key corporate account, spearheaded an initiative to launch a new PLM software product
and successfully landed an opportunity at Nortel resulting in a national RFP while at Siemens AG.
At Camstar, she was responsible for achieving strategic wins to the emerging markets within the telecommunications industry and
later joined Entegreat and successfully oversaw a strategic quality improvement initiative at The Coca-Cola Company.
While at CIBER, she established a teaming agreement for an enterprise transformation project for The Home Depot.
She won business at a major telecom account for an IPTV initiative strategic to their broadband business initiative and worked with the strategic
wins teams at HP to develop a sell with program launching a mobile broadband partnership field trial to the SMB market.
Ms. Whitehead holds a BS in Electrical Engineering specializing in microprocessor control and robotics with a minor in sales and distribution and is an active community member at a political, social, and business level. Participated in the 1996 Olympics Closing Ceremonies and has competed in a half-marathon in 2006.
